The JOB:

·      In addition to shift management responsibilities, the People Department Manager (PDM) is

·      responsible for creating a culture of respect and ensuring the restaurant hires quality crew with the Hospitality Gene. Ensures that they are trained, developed and scheduled to create a great guest

·      experience, while being recognized and motivated throughout their time at McDonald’s.

·      The People Department Manager is responsible for making sure the team meets people targets

·      that supports the restaurant goals, set by the organization. The PDM will also be responsible for the onboarding and training of all restaurant employees.

·      Review current business plan and current trends from the People Propel Portal, PEAK, and

·      restaurant scorecard.

·      Based on key areas of focus, determine measurable targets that support the overall business

·      (2-3 items max). Utilize the System Map signals to help you determine targets. For example:

·      TTM & 90 Day Turnover

·      Staffing Levels (actual vs. target)

·      Crew and Manager Survey Results and Action Plan

·      Development/succession plan for all managers with development time scheduled

·      CDP Tracker with Training and cross Training identified

·      Review/Adjust the plan and tactics to align with the business needs

·      Ensure the updated plan and tactics are communicated effectively to the support team.
