Carpenter Enterprises (B.C.) Inc. is an independently owned and operated franchise of McDonald's Restaurants serving communities across Vancouver Island. We are currently seeking motivated and reliable Dayside Crew Members to join our team.

What Full-Time Dayside Means

We are looking for team members who are available to work year-round during the day, Monday through Friday. Typical shifts fall between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM, with availability to support at least two of our busiest daytime periods, including breakfast and lunch.

A Day in the Life

As a Dayside Crew Member, every shift is different. You may work in the kitchen, Front Counter, Drive-Thru, dining room, or beverage station while helping deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Preparing food and beverages to McDonald's quality standards
  • Serving guests in the Front Counter, Drive-Thru, or dining area
  • Assembling dine-in, take-out, mobile, and delivery orders
  • Taking guest orders and processing payments accurately
  • Cleaning and sanitizing equipment, dining areas, and workstations
  • Stocking supplies and keeping the restaurant organized
  • Working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Following food safety, workplace safety, and company procedures at all times

Qualifications

  • Available to work daytime shifts year-round
  • Reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Friendly, positive, and team-oriented
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Willing to learn and take initiative
  • Previous food service or customer service experience is an asset but not required

Working Conditions

  • Full-time daytime schedule (7–8 hour shifts, 5 days per week)
  • Prolonged standing and walking
  • Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Fast-paced restaurant environment
