We’re opening a new McDonald’s restaurant at Linwell and Grantham (486 Grantham Ave. St. Catherines, Ontario), and we’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Team Member who takes pride in keeping things clean, safe and working well.

As part of our opening team, you’ll help establish the routines that keep a new restaurant looking its best and running smoothly. Your attention to detail will make a difference every day—for our guests, our crew and the community we serve.

Your role

Working alongside the restaurant leadership team, you will:

• Keep the restaurant clean and welcoming: Complete routine and detailed cleaning of restaurant areas, floors, washrooms and exterior spaces.
• Care for equipment: Follow cleaning and preventive maintenance schedules to help keep appliances and equipment in good working condition.
• Troubleshoot and report issues: Identify maintenance concerns, complete minor repairs within your training and authorization, and notify management when specialist support is needed.
• Work safely: Follow procedures for cleaning products, tools and equipment to protect yourself, your coworkers and our guests.
• Stay organized: Manage daily checklists, prioritize tasks and follow through with limited supervision.
• Support opening preparations: Help prepare the restaurant and establish strong maintenance and cleanliness habits from the beginning.

This is a hands-on role combining cleaning, routine equipment care and general restaurant upkeep.

Previous experience in restaurant maintenance, cleaning, custodial work or general repairs is an asset. McDonald’s experience is welcome, and training will be provided.

Maintenance tasks may be scheduled during early mornings, daytime or overnight. Please tell us your availability when applying.
