Chief Accounting Technician

Job Description

Accounting technician in charge of accounting for McDonald's franchises on the North Shore and Laval


DEC or DEP in accounting required

Bachelor's degree in accounting desired

2+ years experience in a similar position

Responsibilities (non-exhaustive list):

- Maintaining the company's books

- Input of monthly GL transactions

- Month end and P&L reporting

- Bank reconciliations

- Participation in the budget process

- Assisting in the preparation of the fiscal year end

- Supervision of accounts payable and payroll procedures

- GST/QST reporting

Skills and abilities required:

- Knowledge of accounting software (Acomba, preferred)

- Ability to organize and structure;

- Flexibility

- Professional ethics

- Strong sense of organization and autonomy

- Ability to multi-task while respecting deadlines and quality requirements.
